Weekly Pool Maintenance
A weekly visit that vacuums, brushes, skims, tests the water and checks the equipment, booked online.
The surface, the walls and the floor
A weekly visit starts with what you can see. The crew vacuums the pool, brushes the walls and skims the surface, so the leaves, bugs and grit that landed since last week are out before they sink and stain.
Skimmer baskets get emptied every time. A full basket starves the pump of flow, and a pump that is pulling through debris works harder than it should.

Testing and balancing the water
Clear water is not the same as balanced water. Each visit includes a water test and the adjustments that test calls for, because chemistry drifts with sun, rain and swimmers.
Balanced water is kinder to skin and eyes, and it protects the liner, the heater and the salt system from the slow damage that off-balance water does. If you ever want to check a sample yourself, the Ace store at 6400 Main St in Whitchurch-Stouffville tests water and stocks the chemicals.
Equipment checked while the crew is there
The crew inspects the equipment, backwashes the filter and checks the pool lights. A light that has quietly gone out or a filter that is clogging is a small job on a Tuesday and a bigger one in August.
Strainer baskets in all the water pumps are cleaned too. It is the part of pool care people forget until the flow drops, and it is on the list every week.
Weekly visits, booked online
Maintenance is booked online, and the weekly cleaning is offered at a great price. Ace serves backyards across the GTA, and the same pool care that starts at opening carries on through the season.
Questions before you book are easy to settle by phone at 647-998-7665 or in person at the store on Main St.
“Sean and Mike were amazing: efficient, professional, and super thorough. They didn't cut corners, paid attention to every detail, and even went above and beyond with a few extras.” Dave Hamilton, Google review.
